Tempestt
Tempestt is a band Brazilian of hard rock formed in 1999 by BJ, Edu Cominato, Kuky Sanchez and Leo Mancini. The band was formed in mid – 1999 playing covers of bands like Journey, Kansas, Europe, Queen, Bon Jovi and Dream Theater. Gained enough prominence and fans for playing the popular ’side B’, which generated a great recognition, as have the participation of Billy Sheehan(exMr. Big) In one of his shows. Soon after (in 2002), Was called to be the backing band for vocalist Jeff Scott Soto(exYngwie Malmsteen and Journey) For their tour in Brazil. This tour became a great friendship between Jeff and the band.
Increasingly using progressive elements, Kuky eventually quit the band for musical differences, and then Paulo Soza took down the band.
In 2007 released their first CD, called Bring ‘Em OnBy Dynamo Records /Century MediaWhere has the special participation of Jeff Scott Soto and Hugo Mariutti. Gustavo Barros becomes the new guitarist Tempestt, and Leo goes to the Shaman.
The band has been reaping the fruits of the first release, named as one of the best albums of 2008According to MelodicRock[1] (one of the largest sites dedicated to Hard Rock / AoR) and financial interests in TV shows, as in TV and Play TV Gazeta.
In early 2009 announced the departure of Gustavo Barros and Return Léo Mancini.
