The Only Two Numbers You Need To Focus On The Business
If your business is online you need to focus just on two numbers: One is the content, the other are the visitors. The content your website has is your most important asset. If you do not have content, if you do not have anything for your users why should they visit you? It’s very important to have a lot of content but that content must be of top quality too. It’s no use to have a lot of low quality content, there are plenty of websites like that already. Articles are probably the most important asset of a website. When people want to know or find something they go to Google and Google goes to your website articles mainly to check if your website is worth ranking high. Only then you will see people coming. You do not even have to wait for Google. You can try to get traffic from Stumble Upon and see which kind of content gets the most visitors. Google Analytics does a pretty good job here. Combine it with Stat Counter to have real time stats as well.
Only after having the best content possible you should check your visitor numbers and only after that you should try to monetize your traffic. If you monetize a website before having visitors you will make no money. If you do not have any content on your website why should you have visitors?
What do you have to offer to people? Think about that for a while then make a great website about it. It’s much better to make a huge top quality website than many smaller ones. Divide your website into categories and add a Google CSE search box to make the users feel better about your website. Remember, the users will pay for the ads, not the advertiser nor the advertisement network.
